sea change
feeling so much better. i now have a weekend job with many perks and possibly will be working back-up at one of the city's best, certainly most popular, restaurants. i will almost always have five days off a week to write and enough money to cover my ass. at this point my resume should be impressive enough to snag a cooking job in any city, provided the job exists. thrilled.

margie, i've moved to vancouver. i thought i should let you know in case you ever are in vancouver, i could see you... for that matter, if you ever need somewhere to stay in vancouver, you could stay with me. and if i ever visit victoria, could i look you up?
